If you ask
yourself, “What do students need to learn and know to thrive as
Christian people in this world?” many of your answers will be
found in the
confirmation instruction section of the website. For example,
students need to know right from wrong (10 commandments),
how God will help them in the tough times (Bible, prayer,
communion), and what is true about God versus what is false
(Apostles’ creed, baptism).
You can
be their best encourager these two years by praying for him/her and
by asking questions about the main point during Wednesday class or a
favorite point jotted down on their Sunday morning message notes.
Most of all, your positive attitude can help ease his/her stress and
open the doors for learning.
Please, know that both you
and your student are in the prayers of the class leaders, our church
prayer team, and many other committed Christians. God will be
working in all of our hearts through this time together.
