Dinner for Friends

This ministry is designed to help families during stressful or busy times, such as struggling with an illness, dealing with a death in the family or celebrating the birth of a new baby.  Dinner for Friends lightens their load by bringing them prepared meals.  Meals can be homemade or from a deli or restaurant.

Helping Hands

This ministry is designed to help members and friends of Resurrection network together to lend a helping hand to one another during times of crisis.  Opportunities could include childcare or transportation, home care, errand running or grocery shopping, lawn work or snow shoveling, as appropriate.

Prayer Team

The Prayer Team is comprised of people who have experienced the power of prayer.  those involved take prayer requests from others, teat them with confidence and care, and lift them to the Lord in prayer.  The Prayer Team meets during the school year to pray together.

Sunday Prayer Ministry

Our Sunday Prayer Ministry is available following worship services on the first Sunday of the month.  If interested in praying privately with one of our prayer ministers, make your way to one of the prayer kneelers following a worship service.

Christian Cupboard

Area churches, including Resurrection, sponsor the Christian Cupboard, a food shelf serving Woodbury, Oakdale, Lake Elmo, Landfall, and parts of Maplewood.  It has been in existence for about 25 years and is located in the lower level of Woodbury Lutheran Church.  Referrals for use of this ministry are most often made through our local churches.  Food is donated by businesses, churches and individuals.
