Christmas Program Coordinator

Job Description:  Lead children and volunteers in celebrating Christ’s birth. Select or create a script or musical for children to learn the Christmas story and share their enthusiasm in a program.

Organize team of volunteers and/or Sunday School teachers to assist with needed music, practices, and decorations.

Time Commitment: 

• Depends on scope of program.
• Approximately 12-16 hours/month for 2-3 months.

Term Commitment:  3 months - October - December

Requirements:

• Ability to plan and organize a meaningful celebration.
• Work with Director of Children’s Ministries to plan any needed rehearsals, publicity, space arrangements, and volunteer needs.

Support Provided:

• Curriculum materials, including teacher’s guide.
• Growing resource library.
• Help in recruiting volunteers.
• Program scripts or ideas.
• Necessary supplies.
• Prayer.
• As needed from Director of Children’s Ministries and Pastor.
