Mentor for Sunday School Teachers

Job Description:  Serve as a spiritual and practical resource person for a Sunday School teacher.  Be there to answer questions or share ideas as that teacher plans his or her lessons. Offer prayer support to their ministry.

Time Commitment:  As needed - probably 1 -2 hours per month.

Requirements:

• A background in teaching or child development, either professionally or in prior church service.
• Ability to review materials to provide informed guidance.
• Willingness to work one-on-one with a newer teacher.

Support Provided:

• Growing resource library.
• Professional workshop fees paid in part or full.
• Prayer.
• As needed from Director of Children’s Ministries and Pastor.
