Storyteller

Job Description:  Bring Bible stories to life for Sunday School children. When invited by a Sunday School teacher, dramatize that Sunday’s Bible story through costumes, skits with children, or dramatic storytelling.  Help that teacher provide a fresh version of a story and become another caring adult for the children in that class.

Time Commitment:

• Varies. From 2-8 hours per month.

• 1-2 hours preparation.
• 10-20 min. with children Sunday morning.

Term Commitment: 1 school year.

Requirements:

• Love and respect for children.
• Ability to plan and create meaningful storytime for Sunday School children.

Support Provided:

• Curriculum materials, including teacher’s guide.
• Growing resource library.
• Reimbursement for some additional materials.
• Prayer.
• As needed from Director of Children’s Ministries and Pastor.
