Vacation Bible School Planning Team

Job Description:  Work with a team of volunteers to choose a theme and curriculum for a summer Vacation Bible School.  Share ideas to create a fun summer event for the children of this community and their friends. Specific areas you that you could coordinate include - publicity, music, crafts, games, site selection and/or decoration, scheduling, registration, theme development, Bible story activities, and more.

Time Commitment: 

• 1-2 hours / month - January through June.
• Active involvement at Vacation Bible School for approximately 1 week during July or August.

Term Commitment:  1 6-month commitment.

Requirements:

• Interest in providing quality summer program for children.

• Willingness to work with team.

• Ability to help with VBS-possible daytime commitment.

Support Provided:

• Reimbursement for some additional materials.

• From other VBS team members.

• Prayer.

• As needed from Director of Children’s Ministries and Pastor.
