	Please take a moment to look at the many ways you can become involved in Faith Outfitters! Children’s ministries constantly grow and evolve, and the opportunities posted here will change and multiply. If you don’t find the right fit now, it may be available soon! We are also open to your ministry ideas. If you have a suggestion, a question, or a form of ministry you are interested in organizing, talk to our Director of Children’s Ministries, Sarah Storvick. 	Anyone interested in Children’s Ministries at Resurrection is encouraged and invited to participate in regular staff training sessions and take advantage of Resurrection’s support for workshops and conferences. The leaders at Resurrection will support your efforts and do all we can to help you nurture and strengthen your gifts!		"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me." 	Children's Ministries Volunteer Opportunities To view a more detailed description of the Faith Outfitters volunteer opportunities click on any of the following links! Teaching / Mentoring Sunday School Teacher - Share the love of Jesus Christ with a group of 6-12 children on Sunday mornings from September through May. Mentor for Sunday School Teachers - Serve as a spiritual and practical resource person for a Sunday School teacher. Storyteller - Bring Bible stories to life for Sunday School children. Sunday School or Trail Mix Assistant - Assist as needed in a Sunday School class or Trail Mix activity time. Trail Mix Leader - Help plan and lead children’s activities during the 11:00 worship celebration. Summer Sundays - Lead, with others, activities, crafts, and/or games for children during worship 1 or 2 Sundays during June, July, and August. Music Team - Create, with other members of a music team, a new music program for Faith Outfitters. Vacation Bible School - Many job possibilities. If you are interested, we can find the spot for you! Administration / Organization Offering Project Coordinator - Select three offering projects for the year and choose worthy organizations to receive children’s offering contributions. Sunday School Treasurer - Develop record-keeping system for Children’s Ministries budget, expenses, and offering collections. Christmas Program Coordinator - Lead children and volunteers in celebrating Christ’s birth. Bible Camp Coordinator - Serve as a resource person for Bible camp information. Vacation Bible School Planning Team - Work with a team of volunteers to choose a theme and curriculum for a summer Vacation Bible School. Guest Performer - Research and Booking - Find and schedule guest performers for Sunday School or special family events. Vacation Bible School - Many job possibilities. If you are interested, we can find the spot for you! Hospitality / Service Greeter - Children's Welcome Table - Greet guests as they arrive for worship. Make sure families know what activities or classes are available for their children. Tape Team - Copy cassette tapes of message during worship celebration and distribute to Sunday School volunteers. Kids' Kits Organizer - Maintain our Kids’ Kits – activity boxes provided for children during a few holiday worship celebrations when no children’s activities are planned. 	It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
