Book Discussion Group

Book TalkLove to read? Would you like to engage in faith conversations sparked by thought-provoking books? Join other adults for Book Talk to discuss a range of both nonfiction and fiction works.

A different title will be discussed each month, with participants selecting the title and location for the next gathering. Come to one book talk or every one, depending on your schedule and your interests.

The September book selection is Half A Yellow Sun by author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Set in Nigeria in the late 1960s, this is a haunting story of love and war from a great contemporary writer. Join others to discuss an evocative novel of the promise, hope, and disappointment of the Biafran war.

Find a copy of the book, and come to Book Talk on Monday, September 10 at 7pm at the Johnson home. Contact Kari Bjorhus for more information.
