Resurrection Recreational and Social Opportunities
|
|
Gourmet Gatherings
Gourmet
Gatherings provides a great opportunity to meet new people
and build stronger friendships within our community. Small
groups are formed in September and February and then meet
together four times from October through January or March
through June (respectively). Each member of a small group
has the opportunity to host one dinner and provide the main
course, while other members bring an appetizer, a salad, or a
dessert. Each month the dinner is rotated to a new host
until everyone has hosted the group once. |

Lion's Garage Sale
Resurrection's annual garage
sale is an exciting two days of fun, fellowship, and
outreach. It is held each year during Woodbury's
Lion's Club Garage Sales in May. This is not
only a great opportunity to become involved in one of
Resurrection's many outreach ministries. Contribution
of time, energy and gently used items are very much
appreciated.

Run for the Cupboard
The
Run For The Cupboard is a 5K and then some ~ a 4
mile run created by Resurrection to benefit the local
Christian Cupboard emergency food shelf. The
morning's activities also include a 1-mile kids fun run,
the Run For The Cup, and entertainment provided
by our worship team, 'common ground'.
Invite your friends and neighbors to help support this
important local ministry. You may also want to be
