Follow-Up

Confirmation students who have not yet picked up your spring test are asked to pick that up in the office. Any students with outstanding work should have received an e-mail or letter this past week, describing options for wrapping up all work within the next two weeks. Ultimate Frisbee

Frisbee Fun with Woodbury Lutheran Church is every Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Woodbury Lutheran Church St. Croix Campus located between Bailey Road and Manning Avenue. Please text or email Bailey if you are planning to attend Ultimate Frisbee.

Paintball ~ August 7

Plan for a day of paintball fun at MN Pro Paintball in Lakeville on Saturday, August 7 at 10 a.m. Cost is $25 for paintballs and CO2 tank. Text Bailey to let her know you are coming and to arrange carpools.

St. Paul Saints Game ~ August 15

Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowds…. COMPASS Ministries invites Pathfinders, Navigators and their families to attend the St. Paul Saints vs. Lincoln Saltdogs baseball game on Sunday, August 15th. Carpools will depart from church at noon; first pitch is at 1:05 p.m. Cost is $5/person. Please sign up in the lobby or contact Rachel Dillon.

Youth Service Project ~ August 17

All youth are invited to visit a senior citizen facility in Oakdale on Tuesday, August 17. Beginning at 1 p.m. we will assist residents with various home projects. Contact Bailey to sign up, and to hear about the plans for ice cream after we have served.

Compassion International

In March COMPASS Ministries began sponsoring a 12-year-old boy from India through Compassion International. For $38/month we are providing Biswanash Sing Baya with Bible teaching, nutritious meals, health screening, medical treatment, recreational activities, tuition and tutoring, and skill training for his parents, who are sometimes employed as laborers. Resurrection families, as well as small groups, are invited to help continue our support to Biswanash. Sign up on the COMPASS bulletin board or speak to Nicole Hanselman about options. Thank you for your support.

Pathfinders (Middle School, 6th - 8th gr)

The MIX

It is our last MIX of the summer Sunday, August 22 from 6-8 p.m. We are celebrating with a campfire and an old fashioned game of hide-n-seek and maybe sardines, too. As always, bring your friends!

Navigators (High School, 9th - 12th gr)

Pastor Tom’s Cabin ~ August 12

Spend the afternoon and evening waterskiing, tubing or hanging out at Pastor Tom’s Cabin on Lake Wapogassett. Carpools will depart from church on Thursday, August 12 at 3 and 5 p.m. (adult leaders providing transportation) and return to church at 11:30 p.m. Main course for dinner will be provided; youth are asked to sign up to bring soda, water, chips and snacks to share. Please sign up in the lobby or contact Rachel Dillon.
